Planned Parenthood Wart Treatment gone wrong or all good?

Joe Asked: Planned Parenthood Wart Treatment gone wrong or all good?

Short & sweet, stopped by PPH for an annual check-up, three tiny spots on my shaft were diagnosed as hpv warts, it which they asked me if i would like them treated there, to which I agreed. The spots in question were hardly noticeable, although I could both see and feel the bumps, I would have never taken them for a wart (they had been there over a year, and frankly i passed them off as a skin tag or mole)

Anyway, the nurse applied an acid based paste (not sure which one exactly) trichloroacetic acid (TCA) or sialic acid? This stung, and turned the tiny protrusions white. I was told "they should fall off in about a week or so, you'll need to schedule a follow-up in case a second application is needed.

Fine. Fast forward 24 hours, the white is all gone, but now where the three tiny spots where that were hardly noticeable, there is now a VERY noticeable purple splotch where each 'wart' was treated.. Is this normal? Will the wart continue to dry and fall off while the skin rejuvenates itself, or is this an adverse reaction or worse, a burn?

I've read a lot of articles about people spot treating with Apple Cider Vin, Hydrogen Peroxide, and of course OTC wart removers, which I am not ready to experiment with on my penis.. at least until I know what Planned Parenthood did, did not work. Any advice, personal experience, or help?

Go back for a recheck. The acid does burn the skin–that is what it does.
